Why bother sending flowers? Flowers are over-rated. Also, I don’t want to sound sexist here but when you are a woman sending flowers to a man does not sound appropriate. Maybe I am just being too conservative.  

Anyways… I found a PERFECT alternative to flowers, perfect from a point of view of a chocolate addict that I am.

I would send flowers to a man depending on the circumstance, but I agree chocolate is a much better gift. Do you prefer dark or milk chocolate?

Depends… I like both … in fact I LOVE both …

I suppose you CAN send flowers to a guy that is for example in hospital … but not really to tell him you miss him… or am I wrong?

Depends on the ‘colour’ the flower you send and of course the flower. Most guys wouldn’t get that anyway. If you want to say ‘I miss you’ send an orange rose (it also sort of hints at desire as well and that you want to get to know them better) . My favourite it the blue rose (very hard to get!) as it’s mysterious. If you give a blue rose it is a symbol of the rarity of your partner. If they are more of a friend, white roses are the biz but avoid the flush on the petal tips as that’s a hint of desire and lust! :)Deep Pink is usually a ‘thank you’ Avoid the light pink unless it’s a funeral! and somewhere in between you got the happiness aspect :)

To be more creative, send a mixture to send several messages at once, par example… lavender and orange to say that you are falling in love with them and want to get to know them better.. Yellow and white to signify friendship to let them know that you care and are there for them.

Red..just too cliche!

In the absence of flowers, the ole box of Jaffa Cakes might do the trick!
