We all like to look good, that’s obvious. How deep does looking good gets though? I’m not talking here about so-called inner beauty. Sure personality is important … and actually when I think about it this blog entry perhaps is about personality. To be more precise it is all about keeping up the appearances.

You have your super-expensive shoes (or at least ones that look like they are), ultra fashionable trousers and a beautiful top. But … what do you have underneath? Do you actually care?

underwear

My friend’s mum is a nurse working in an emergency room. She often undresses people who were brought to the hospital after some accidents. What she noticed and mentioned many times were people who had super expensive outfit on the outside … but old and dirty underwear! Why would they bother? Nobody looks at it anyway, right?

Study shows that people who are self-confident, like and accept themselves often buy pretty underwear and spend more money on it than people who obsessively care about the opinions of others. It’s all about covering up.

So ladies show me your knickers and I will tell you who you are!

I agree — underwear is so very important. I always have to have a matching pair — and it MUST coordinate with my outfit. Recently I purchased and wore (for about 5 minutes) a boned corset. I thought I would die!

My man doesn’t wear unwear. What does that say about him?

Reminds me of lyrics to a song, Peach.

“Does your chain hang low, does it wobble to the floor? ….does your chain hang low?” - Nims

I 100% agree with that.
Before I wasn’t paying that much attention to underwear, but like 5 years ago my cousin’s comment on it similar to what you said made me realize that I was wrong.

I like to indulge in the best of both worlds: comfy and sexy.

Whether it’s boyshorts, thongs, or bikinis, I like the juxtaposition of something really flirty, feminine and sexy. But also something that I am comfy in too (but never frumpy) - that makes me feel even sexier.

My mother always told me when I was young that I should always wear nice and clean underwear in case I had an accident. So I’ve always followed her advise :)
I also feel much better when I have nice underwear on.

I’m not wearing any! Knickers that is, as I’m wearing thongs at the mo! Black thongs with a little pink snoopy on the side and matching bra with a pink snoopy and pink straps. Sounds sorta drab but they are actually quite sexy. Well I think so anyway :) I like them so much I have them in a few colours, although black is my fav. (Although come to think of it, most of my schtuff is black!) Very comfy as well. I love underwear, I guess it’s sorta my thing. I also have a collection of Betty Boop. Sad really I suppose lol. They are not all themed though, and like above, my mother always told us to be prepared in case of an accident! I love to wear nice underwear especially if it feels sexy on. Makes me feel good all over and that’s what counts eh!
