However, my cat Harry would never sleep on anything that is bought just for him. He would ignore all the baskets, cushions, cat-beds and whatever else there was. He seems to love to sleep on a pile of newspaper/magazines or behind dictionaries on a bookcase. As an owner of a cat, I like and I would dare to try!
