This is the coolest looking clock I’ve seen lately! Simple and stylish. Designed by Reddish Design Studio from Israel. They say: There is nothing trivial about time keeping.
As the time components (hours, minutes, seconds) are separated, each hand gets the appearance of a different time zone.

Just a moment, let me take some time and think what the time is!
P.S: Please honey can I have one, it’s only about 80 $,:)….

burburry-post.jpg

I like the Burberry bag, and the shoes and… well, to tell the truth… everything in this window. Usually when I travel somewhere I have to come back home with a piece of clothing, I guess it’s just a girl thing. Clothes brings back memories of places I’ve visited and how much fun I had there.
I went to Padova in Italy last week. Since it was 9 p.m. when I finally got a chance to look around the downtown area I didn’t get the chance to buy any clothes but did pick up two bottles of wine… That’s something, at least.
Well, today I browsed the net for Burberry, and of course… I found the bag from that storefront and a pair of matching shoes. The price of the bag is 950 British pounds for those who can afford it…
Sigh… guess I will just have to look for a cheaper version.

Back in 1980’s when I was a kid and there was a limited use of video cameras (cos the video tapes were expensive) our parents used to record me and my brother’s conversations on audio cassettes. Later, in primary school when we got our first HI-FI player and Walkmans we used to play with our friends - record our singing and stories. Even play cassettes from New Kids on the Block or Madonna. There I’ve said it! I’ m sure you did that too but you are to embarrassed to admit it, ;)!
Nowadays we have CD’s, DVD’s, mp3, mp4s players,…Ipod’s and I can’t remember the last time I held a cassette in my hand. I don’t even own a cassette player from, ehmmm… 1996!? Anyway, I would love to listen to those goofy tapes from the 80’s once again.

I saw a cool gadget in the newspaper this morning that combines old and new technology. It is called PlusDeck Ex from Korea’s BTO company.

It allows you to connect to your computer’s USB port and convert your old cassette tapes into MP3, WAV or OGG digital audio files (and vice versa, from computer to cassette tapes – if you still live in the past). It has and AM/FM tuner, blah, blah ecc. It looks cute and luxurious too. I have no idea when it is going to be shipped in Croatia…

I got this on my e-mail today and I REALLY HOPE IT’S A JOKE. The question is: Is this what men secretly dream about even today?

pepper1.jpg

In 1955 an article called The Good Wife’s guide was published. Here are a few tips:

Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a meal ready on time for his return. This way you will let him know that you have been thinking about him and his needs . Most men are hungry when they get home and a delicious meal makes a warm welcome.

Prepare yourself. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.

Minimize all noise. At his arrival, eliminate all noise of household appliances. Encourage the children to be quiet.

Be happy to see him. Greet him with a warm smile and show desire to please him.

Listen to him. You may have important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first - remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.

Don’t complain if he’s late for dinner or even if he stays out all night. Try to understand that he is stressed out from work.

In the end, don’t question his actions, judgment or integrity. He is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness.

And remember- A good wife knows her place.

Since I recently bought a new pair of Puma shoes I googled for Puma
new stuff and I came across this bike,:)

marinela10.jpg

Too bad this one is not going to be sold commercially, SIGH :(
It s going to be displayed and auctioned-off to raise money for
earthquake victims from Hokuriku area in Japan.
This Puma bike was a joint collaboration between two Japanese artists
Maruwaka and Keigo Kamide. Maruwaka created some bike parts with
Kutani ceramic (Kutani is a traditional exclusive form of pottery).
Back in my home town I used to go for bike rides every day, and now I
miss it …Hope, next year I will buy a new one. Until then…if this
model of bike gets on the market let me know!

I am a working woman.
I have to look good every day.
I have to be in my office at 7.30 a.m. Way too early for me!
Why? I am one of those people that puts the alarm to snooze 5 times before I wake up.
I don’t wake up at 6 a.m. and I don’t have enough time to go through a slow waking up routine. Why? Cos I LOVE TO SLEEP in the morning!

marinela1.gif

Instead, I wake up at 7 a.m ( the alarm started ringing from 6.30) I have about 10 - 15 minutes to dress up, brush my teeth, put some make on and RUN out of the house.
Quality make up is important to me but the process of putting it on needs to take 5 minutes top.
I’ll tell you my secret. I use Dior Airfresh -a spray foundation with incredible feeling of freshness that lasts all day. Yes I know it sounds like and adwertisment but I really love it ,:) I need only two seconds to spray it on my face! Before, I used to spend a lot of time putting the foundation on. Not any more.

Summer. Downtown storefronts. 40°. Other than buying “just” a few pairs of sandals I’ve to go shopping for the perfect bikini.
Window shopping is the word and the ritual that belongs to the past. When debit, charge, credit or all the other types of card were not in use. Plastic will get me a bikini today.Bikini shopping fever

Sent from heaven, in all its splendor, on a perfectly shaped plastic doll. That ’s the one I want! Frantic like sensation that tingles inside of me. Like in case of shoes, I’ m willing to spend a small fortune. I enter the store, quickly grab my size, as if some lady is going take that exact pair. The last one, of course.
I must try out these two little patches ’cause it’s THE piece of clothing for this summer! How ridiculous can that be? On that perfect sunny day, on your favorite beach, will your male be interested in what you have on or will he just look at the best bottom he can spot on that beach?

Completely irrelevant in this moment.

So, I find myself sweating, in a hot, stuffy changing room without air conditioning. Suffocating in a parfum stench of at least 200 women that were in there before me. Trying out bikinis. I don’t fit in size 3 or 4! My upper patch should be size 4 and the bottom size 3 (how lucky am I or what?)

“I wish could combine those sizes…”

How many times I wished I could switch sizes of bikinis, pay and run out of the store without anyone noticing? I’m sure some of you girls did that, right? This year’s hit is a tailored bikini – a combination that best suits your needs. Define your style, colors, shapes and sizes.
Here’ s a tip: Calzedonia Mix and Match.

There are other producers on the market too but for that you’d have to explore the downtown area.. ’cause there is no better way to relax then shopping on +40°.
