All the way from the University of Berlin, and designer Markus Kison comes this so-clever-it-hurts creation: a ring, which displays the Google hit count of whoever is wearing it. I wouldn’t do so well, but Pablo Picasso does pretty good, as can be seen from this video demonstration.

I’ve been on the hunt for a nice pair of sunglasses before heading off to Australia later this year. I find sunglasses harder to choose than pretty much anything else I’d buy in a year, wrong shape, too tight, covers too much or too little of the face, just not the right style, wrong brand, too dark view of the world… there are so many variables.
